Plants for Difficult Places

Coco mulch for deer

I heard on the TV lst night, well yes I was home on New Year's Eve also, that Coco Mulch might be a good repellant for deer. The comentator said that deer do not like anything that smells. Well Coco Mulch does smell, that's for sure. So they suggested the CCM around beds. I don't have a deer problem, but my friends in the Garden Club do. They are always looking for relief. Any thoughts?

Don't know about being a deer repellent, but be sure not to experiment with it where dogs might come into contact with it.
