Tall narrow evergreen tree (not conifer!)

Does anyone know of a good tree to plant that is very narrow and has nice foliage?

i have a spot in my garden up against a 2 storey brick wall that needs something there... i was initially thinking a creeper but was worried about it being invasive and can't be bothered pruning.
