I have a house cut into a Mountain side behind which there is about 30 feet lawn then an incline of between 4 to 6 feet nearly 60 to 70 degree's. The soil is clayish with some loose rock and is moist (but well drained) most of the year from seepage off the mountain. There was previously Singapore daisy growing here and it worked well to hold the wall but it is a extremely evasive weed that gets out of control, As we have native tropical Rainforest on the mountain I want to stick with a native or at lest a easy to control ground cover. We have planted some grevilleaÂs and they are going well but need erosion control when there is heavy rain.
