Plants for Difficult Places

Time to spray now?

It's our first warm day here in zone 6 and the forecast is for seasonably warm weather for the next week. Thinking that my hosta and heuchera might be poking up, should I should start spraying my Liquid Fence in high risk areas to start training the deer to stay away? Just don't want to waste it as it's expensive.

Its more or less the time of year for the deer and their fawns than timing for your plants. Anytime mid-end of march is a good time to spray.
