'Hinder' repellent for deer, squirrel, rabbits

Since the herd of deer to my backyard have eaten daylilies , roses, & shrubs (butted up to house), I asked the local garden store expert what would get rid of them other than .3006 rifle! His professional nursery growers use a product called Hinder which is a highly capsicum/bad odor spray that you spray 4-5 days straight & they learn not to return. Said most are succesful after 3 days (of course without rain or watering disturbance).

It seems to have worked as haven't had any others cropped to the nub since using it. DH has had me spray continuously, because of continued rains here or because he's not convinced that they have visited since I started the program to "learn"!
