I have large dead zone in my front yard from road salt. Not only do I get the same amount of salt as my neighbors, but since I have a corner lot, the DPW often plows the extra snow (and salt and gravel) onto my yard. I also have an abundance of wildlife to contend with, particularly deer, groundhogs, and rabbits.

I'm looking for a something hardy and attractive. This area is fairly sunny with a heavy clay soil.
