I'm thinking about installing a plastic mesh deer barrier. Would 7' high be enough? Also how far apart should I put the fence posts in (those green metal ones)? Thanks for your help.

Deer CAN jump nearly any fence but 7' would likely make them not want to. The thing that actually would keep them out is a sloped fence with some distance 30'.

I actually kept them out by stringing twine on poles, created a visual barrier and they stayed out.
