Morning Glories

Hi. I've always grown mg's in my fenced cutting garden, but would like to put them out in the open (deer ridden) garden. Does anyone have experience with mg's and deer? Thanks.

RE: Morning Glories

i'm sorry to say that in my neck of the woods, the deer like my morning glories very much. every couple days last summer they would come by and eat everything at eye level, leaving sad leaf stems sticking out. they don't seem to make a beeline to the flowers, and their grazing rarely kills the MGs and it's definitely unsightly.

i suggest you spray it with some deer deterrent solution if you want to plant some out in the open.

Thanks Kitova. I was afraid of this. Will stock up on Liquid Fence.
