Shade to part shade plants for soggy clay soil

I am trying to amend this soil but I am not have alot of luck. It will cost me a fortune to fix this. So I would like to change my frame of thinking since the soil won't change much. I am looking for plants that don't mind poor drainage. The soil I have retains water for up to two weeks after a heavy rain. I am talking about standing pools of water. I don't know if bog type plants would work or not. I need plants of all heights starting from short to tall. Thank you.
