wet feet and deer

I am looking for plants that can withstand being in water for long periods after rainfall. The problem is that in the summer they'll be in just the opposite environment. I have found a foolproof deer proof plant. Foxgloves. Seems that digitalis doesn't stimulate their little hearts in a good way at all.

Any help with the 'bog' problem would be appreciated. I have an hydrangea and some Autumn Joy sedum to start in there and they're doing fine. I have wire fencing around them so the deer don't munch them so you can imagine that they're ever so attractive!! But they're living!! My husband has hauled some large rocks and put them in that garden. I'm thinking I may be able to put some alpines on them. Any ideas on a nursery for them?? Thanks for any help you have.
