Deer resistant annuals?

| Any suggestions for deer resistant annuals? We just planted several deer resistant perennials (hopefully!), but want to fill in the spaces until the plants get larger. We have afternoon sun in the summer, although have a mild climate here so it doesn't get baking hot.
Oh, here is some of what we planted: Daphne, Astilbe, Thyme, Oregano, Jupiter's beard, Ajuga, Liriope, Digitalis.

| I have deer galore, and although my gardens are largely perennial, I do use a fair number of annuals. Deer have never touched zinnias, dahlias, dianthus Chinensis, verbena hybrids, statice, alyssum, petunias, geraniums, lisianthus, portulaca, nasturtiums, impatiens, snapdragons, dusty miller, osteospermum, or coleus. I think deer instinctively know to bypass anything you can get in a market pack for $2.99 in favor of the expensive perennials. |
