Plantings on a slope

We have a 60 ft wide by 4 ft tall slope that we are landscaping. We had a hideous rotting wood retaining wall that we decided to replace with a natural slope. Part of the slope we will be planting bermuda on and have a rock staircase and a dry creek bed we are constructing. I am seeking advice on the best perinneal plants to put on a slope that would look good along the stairs and the dry creek bed that would be able to resist the invasive bermuda. Thank you so much for recommendations. Pictures to come, still stuck in the old fashined 35mm camera!
