Help Needed

I'm new to the forum and to coastal NC. We live on the intercoastal and all we hear is how things won't grow because they aren't salt tolerant.

We would like to grow a garden, some perennials, avocados, apples, pears, key lime, lemon, clementine, pomegranate, bing and tart cherries, strawberries and blueberries. Basically, a nice variety of both veggies and fruits. We live on 2.5 acres so I don't think space will be the major issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Help Needed

I was perusing some on line nurseries and noticed one said "salt tolerant" and I had never had to consider that before.

Google salt tolerant plants (or perennials/shrubs etc) in North Carolina.
I did not know your growing zone, so used the state instead.

There are some good sites. Here are a couple links you might start with and find helpful:

Good luck!
