contaminated soil

Okay guys, here's a tough one-

A couple of years ago neighborhood kids stole the gas can from the back of my truck, put it on my front lawn and set it on fire. Luckily a passing neighbor saw it almost immediately, so there was no real damage. However, there is a patch of my front yard which was soaked in gasoline. It is right next to a tree, so there are lots of roots I don't want to disturb by just digging it out. Any suggestions for plants that might do well despite gas contamination?
