Just wanted to share a success story. We live on a small acreage that is home to a herd of deer. There are two does each with twin fawns, plus others that hang around year round. Most of the plants around the place are deer proof, but I have one area close to the house that I keep growing things that deer like. This year, I put an electric fence around this area plus some of the lawn so we didn't feel confined, and other than one incursion, we have had NO deer in the garden! Last night I watched as the does and fawns -- all six of them -- ate acorns just on the other side of the wire without attempting to come into my flower garden.
