Hi there,

Hi just moved into a cubical at work that has a big window facing south. The window sill is very large and long. I would like to dress it up with some plants. I dont know what plants would work well with this window. Any suggestions?

RE: South facing windows

You have a wonderful situation. Many things will grow there, including flowering plants. Spider plant, the purple velvet plant, tradescantia, coleus, many many more. Go to a store you can buy house plants and read the tags for which plants like that situation. You'll be able to do lots with height, trailing plants, nice pots, etc. Also find a library book on house plants for ideas.
