Oils for scenting potpourri?

Just wondering what types of oils you use for scenting homemade potpourri? Do you find the most expensive oils are really better or will the cheaper types work just as well?

I would especially appreciate knowing a supplier, fragrance, etc. that you think is best.

We've used Nichols Garden Nursery for essential oils and fixitives and been happy with their products.
