I was wanting to find out what is the best way to put away a Rose Rope. My grandmother passed away last week and I was given the 6 roses "rope" that was from the grandkids. I have let it set out and they are getting dried but not for sure how would be best on pressing them, the greenery and baby's breath is still with it all. There are 6 Roses 3 on each side of the ribbon that says "Grandma" any help would be greatly appericiated.

Check out the posting on "What Rose Do You Grow to Dry?" and perhaps you might want to email one of the posters...I don't think they would mind helping you out. (I've only had limited experience and not too successful myself). Good luck. josh

if things are already starting to dry, pressing them will just make things fall apart. a thought is to dry it the rest of the way with silica crystals, and then mount the display in a shadow box- otherwise, it's going to be a terribly fragile dust magnet in no time.
