How to dry Lily of the Valley?

I recently completed a cross stitch piece featuring Lily of the Valley and hope to include in the framed matting some dried flowers from my yard. I've been to the dried flower link which was very helpful but would appreciate any first hand experience with the specific flower that anyone can offer. Thank you in advance.

Sorry -- first hand is exactly what I don't have, but it feels like you should get some response.

In general, fleshy flowers in the lily family (and monocots in general, except for grasses as far as I can tell) don't air-dry well. That leaves using a dessicant, such as silica gel, or pressing. I'm pretty sure that I've seen pressed lily-of-the-valley, and that should work in a framed piece.

Good luck, and tell us what happens.

Thank you, Neil. I'll give it a shot and report back.
