sticking flowers on glass, what is the best way?

hello everybody!

I am very glad I found this forum with you specialists :-)

I work with dried pressed plants first time and use them as part in an art installation.

The flowers and plants should be glued on glass or acrylic glass. Maybe i will put another plate of glass on top.

which glue is good to use? the work should be very clean.
can i paint or spray something on top to protect the plants (what happens with the glass spaces between?)

is it possible to dry plants and flowers in the oven? i have to finish the work in 2 weeks and miss still a bit of material. I am using oldfashioned books to press.

and is there some artificial light that plants take well so they will not bleach too much by time? will they all loose their colour by the time?

looking forward to your advice!
best wishes, ranikaz

Mod-podge is what I have for a project that I haven't quite got around to yet for decorating glass with flowers. I got the instructions from a Harrowsmith article.
