capturing fragrance

i dont know if this is the right forum ... if you can recommend another i will move on ...

it would seem that you are the type of people to have or know the answer, or be able to lead me in the right direction ...

i have about a week ... i would like to capture the fragrance of my daphne and lilacs ...

i know drying will save some .. but not for very long ...

something is telling me i can do it in oil .. but i have no clue beyond that ...

any ideas????

There's a link below to a page with brief descriptions of the main methods. Very few things retain their scent when dried, lavender being the main exception.
