Agapanthus seed heads

Does anybody have any ideas on how to dry these things. The cut stems are dripping a lot of water so I assume they should be dried right side up so this fluid can drain out.
Any hints??? Thank you.

I had not thought to dry from green, but will experiment. I just let mine dry on the plants. I enjoy coloring mine after they are perfectly dry, with wood stains. I wonder if they would do well green, in glycerine?

What is the procedure for planting the seeds? Are they just scattered, scored, under soil (inches?), watered heavily, watered lightly, time until they become bulbs, season for planting, storage??? I have many seeds but no knowledge regarding how-tos.
