Hi,

I will be pressing plants/flowers with ~ 70 kids at a summer camp. Pressed specimens will be affixed to card stock to make cards.

In addition to pressing what we find around camp, I would also like to offer the kids a pressing and drying-friendly type of flower to use. I was thinking of purchasing a hanging basket with multiple blooms.

However, I don't know much about the types of flowers typically found in hanging baskets, so I'm asking for suggestions for what to consider purchasing in a hanging basket, such as impatiens, petunia, violas, or another type of flower.

Also, in the past, I've used cardboard and paper to press specimens in a homemade press. But I realize I need to obtain lots of cardboard and then cut out ~ 140 pieces (2 per kid). Any suggestions for an easier, low cost or free alternative to having to cut multiple pieces of cardboard are appreciated. Thank you.
