Framing pressed flowers/leaves

peony4

Hello! I've spent the past year collecting leaf and flower cuttings from my yard, and have been pressing them between books. I have about 50 cuttings, and most have pressed beautifully.

I found a local source for decent, inexpensive frames, and I would like to frame each cutting and hang in a wall collage.

Is there a preservative I should apply to each dried cutting before framing? Each will be mounted onto a plain burlap or linen matte with Elmer's Glue (based on what I read here), and then placed behind the glass of the frame.

Thank you!
