What are your dried green 'staple' plant or plants ?

You know, something that dries very easily, is used often, is used as something it is not. Example. I started to dry ferns. I'm not sure what type they are. They are about 3-4 ft high, with green fronds and found in my yard and the woods beside my yard. I cut most of the leaves off of the stem, but after I had cut one side off, Iturned it sideways and it looked like a landscape picture with a line of different size trees in it. I also noticed that if I cut the skinny tip off of the frond at about 2 inches it looks like a miniture Christmas tree. I am also drying other green leaves, like sumac, bluberry bush, ( have the green berries drying in an uncovered jar) and others that look interesting but I have no idea what they are.

So what greens, or other non flowers are you guys drying now to use later ?
