Drying a wedding bouquet

Hi Everyone, I caught my cousin's bouquet at the weekend (hurrah!) & I would like to dry & preserve it. It's 35 red roses in a posy. Do I need to separate out all the flowers or can I dry the bouquet intact? I'd welcome your help.

RE: Drying a wedding bouquet

Congratulations on catching the bouquet! It's a little hard without seeing the bouquet, but I think it will be safer to keep the bouquet intact. Find a place that is warm, dry, and dark-maybe a closet or attic-and hang it upside down. When it's done, the petals will feel crisp to the touch. Once dry, the color will last longer if you can keep it out of light as much as possible. Good luck.
