Looking for advice on how best to preserve ornamental corn for market sales. I have 5 varieties that are nearly ready to be picked. Thanks for the help, Dave

Here is a site w/ good info on ornamental corn-www.ca.uky.edu/agc/pubs/ho/ho81/ho81.htm If you scroll past the growing info, there is a section on harvesting. Mice like dried corn, so store it in a mouse-proof container. Hope this is helpful.

Gosh, I have had some of the miniature colored corn hanging in my kitchen for a couple of years. I never thought I might be setting out a mouse lure. :) By the way, mine has the shucks just pulled back, still attached. You might want to do some that way. josh

I expected that mice might like corn & grains ( one ate some of my dried sorghum) but I read that they like globe amaranths, too. Guess they're the dessert?
