powdery mildew

Just wondering if its possible to dry flowers from plants that have been infected with powdery mildew. The flowers look good, but the stems are a little dark and I'm wondering if it will continue to travel up into the flower when drying. Thanks for the help! Dave

By now, I guess you've tried drying these powdery mildew-ed plants. How did it work? What plants were you working with?

You can spray them with metalic paint. Of course they will be gold or silver or whatever but you sure can't see the black. The poppy pods in these photos had some on them.

Here is a link that might be useful: Sprayed mildewy pods.
