drying hypericum blossoms

I picked up a bunch of unopened hypericum at the grocery. The flower buds are a very pretty berry color and I was hoping to dry them while they are closed up tight and use them in holiday decorations. Has anyone done this before?
Any advice? Thanks for any help. Shari |

| Instead of drying the blossoms, I meant I'd like to use the dried berries in arrangements. |

| I air-dried some last fall; they turned very dark-almost black-but the berries remained on the stem, & didn't get soft. |
