 o
drying hypericum blossoms

Posted by ArborBluffGirl 6 (My Page) on

I picked up a bunch of unopened hypericum at the grocery. The flower buds are a very pretty berry color and I was hoping to dry them while they are closed up tight and use them in holiday decorations. Has anyone done this before?
Any advice? Thanks for any help. Shari

Instead of drying the blossoms, I meant I'd like to use the dried berries in arrangements.

I air-dried some last fall; they turned very dark-almost black-but the berries remained on the stem, & didn't get soft.
