Best Weeds for Dried Arrangements?

What are your favorite weeds to use in dried arrangements? I've really enjoyed goldenrod this year. It holds its yellow color amazingly well and has nice structure and height for arrangments. I've also found an interesting white flower that I really like. It isn't a daisy, but it is a late bloomer, as it began blooming within the past week. The white flowers were closed when I picked them but they opened up into a fluffy mass when dried, the flowers were still discernable from each other though. I sprayed the individual stems so they wouldn't fluff away. There was also a pink/white flower that looks kind of like a princes feather - very delicate.

There's one kind of goldenrod that gets insect galls on its stems. When the leaves fall, it looks as though the stem has pierced a brown ping-pong ball.

Hi ArborBluffGirl - can't answer your question, but would appreciate your telling me how you get to dry goldenrod and have it stay beautiful. Mine always has a brownish look. tia
