Mystery plant

I bought a scented wreath last year in the fall and hung it in the kitchen. It had a wonderful smell that lasted quite awhile. It was a dried plant of some sort that was wrapped around one of those twisted branch wreaths. Anyway it started to fall apart so I hung it in the shed and forgot about it. The other day I noticed a familiar smell in the shed and found that the seeds from the wreath had sprouted in the cracks in the floor and I had huge plants growing! I'd like to grow it next year in my garden. can anyone identify it for me?
Thanks

What a fun story...I'd say this is one determined plant! And pretty, too. josh

If it has a pungent fragrance it may well be "Sweet Annie"

RE: Mystery plant

I planted Sweet Annie several years ago to use in my wreaths. It looks and smells beautiful; however, it has since become a noxious weed, sprouting in various areas all over my nine acres (I originally had it in one small patch). I would be very careful with this one.
