I am new to drying flowers and would like to know what is the best way to preserve the colors when drying flowers. What procedure(s)must I take to do this? Thanks for your help.

Peter

RE: Preserving colors

If drying flowers 3-D, try hanging a bunch upside down in a dark dry place. Most leaves will eventually fade away. If pressing the flowers flat, I would be glad to send you a list I have compiled of which flowers press best. Request the info at www.sonshinecrafts.com

RE: Preserving colors

I am trying to dry some orchids. Will try hanging them upside down and see if that will work any better than pressing.
