 o
need help with laminating please

I make bookmarks with dried flowers and leaves and have just been given a Laminating machine. I love it but the problem I am having is that I am getting small bubbles on the plastic sheets when they are done. I am using the correct sheets (they came with the machine) and also the heavy paper to slide them in. I would appreciate any help any one can give me. Sheila

Are the bubbles where the plastic didn't get hot enough to stick? You may want to raise the temp a bit at a time, or use a thinner carrier. To test this heat up your iron and iron (put newpaper on plastic first!), and see if it seals the air pockets. You dried material need to be thin, and if you have a big bumo inb the middle, that cancause an air pocket too.

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. My Laminator only has the settings hot/cold/foil and I am using the hot. However I will try with a thinner carrier and also the iron heat. Good advise thanks Sheila
