Beginner - need help

| I'm not a creative person but really love seeing the pressed flowers in frames. So I decided to take on the challenge of learning this art. First question, I do I get the petals to lay flat without taking them all apart. Roses for example, how would I press a rose while still intact? Thanks, hope this is not a really stupid question! |

| Of course, it's not a stupid question! Depends on what you want to do with your flowers - generally, full, multi-layer flowers (that's how I think of them) like roses & carnations don't press very well unless you take them apart. single layer flowers like daisies & pansies are easy to get to lay flat. good luck and have fun :> If you are using a shadow box frame, fuller flowers that have been dried work nice. |
