| Eric, looks like teasel to me. Check the link to see whole plant for comparison. Otherwise, it might be an Eryngium...especially variety called "Miss Willmott's Ghost" which has the largest cones,I believe. Either one makes great dried material..just stand in a jar to dry...no water. Be careful with seeds...I've read that both are prolific self-seeders. josh |
