Last year I asked about putting 2 old rubber hoses underground from the house to the garden. Well, with your encouragement, I put them in (used the trencher that my DH rented to put in some underground lighting wires for the front edge of the driveway-100 ft from the house). Well, its been a year and the garden hoses work great. No complaining from DH about the hoses when he wants to mow, no sore back from dragging the hose, and minimal costs. I didn't need to blow the lines out in the fall, and don't seem to have any leaks. thanks everyone.
