You're right--too much rain at once will just run off. What's needed is a gentle rain to soften up the earth, some steady rain for about a day or two.

I'll continue to pray for rain! The Good Lord knows just what we need. I must say He has been good to us in the last two weeks and I am grateful!

A nearby school is having to have water bottles brought in for drinking, and are using paper plates in the lunch room because the water situation is getting so bad.

On the upside, a cloud just came over, and we're getting some rain! :-D
