Yes...wonderful rain finally! Now, where's that rowboat....LOL.

up here in the mountains we haven't gotten as much as you folks but it's still raining and that's all that matters to me :) we've gotten about an inch or an inch and a quarter so far. it's sure a lot better than what we've had from july until nows which is NOTHING. lol.

Here too, north of Philadelphia. Rained gently all night and is expected to rain all day. Such a change from the infrequent 5-minute cloud bursts that don't soak in at all!

Yay!

Had a dandy soaker of a day & night here in northern Baltimore County, and I went to sleep to the sound of my rain barrels overflowing. I felt a little bad about the overflow, but somehow the embarrassment of riches was in order after a summer of worry.

To boot, we're not done yet. Keep it coming!

All's dry on the western front. Congrats on the rain.

We've gotten 3.50 inches of rain since Sunday! Umm.. Do you think I can indulge in the luxury of a normal shower, and not a navy shower? Just one? Still worry about the well. It's going to take a lot of rain to make up from this summer. Towns east of Raleigh were flooding on Monday and Tuesday. Ouch!

Good, I sent it to all of you. We have had our share
of over 50 days worth so we are gladly sharing the
rain.

May you get more and us less. We are still getting
sprinkles, but the majority of the 1-2 inches a day
is somewhat over. Maybe.

I am so happy for you in the east, finally getting rain. Now pray for us here in the west that we can have some, too.

Last Thursday, a town in Western NC had a day of prayer (for rain). Wonder if someone was listening? A week later we are definitely getting some rain. That town is under a flood watch today. I hope this abundance gets shared with everyone to the north that needs it. It's so frustrating to see everyone around you getting rain, but you getting none.
Western friends, I hope you get rain soon, too.
