I planted Blue Bird and Blue Belle, I think, a few years ago. One (was) like a foot and a half tall, the other is a little taller. Fruit bland, and scanty since the bushes are so small, and snatched by birds before I've decided it's time to eat them. Last winter, I think it was early March, we had a fake spring in Iowa, everything bloomed, the pollinators were ecstatic, so I forgave my certain loss of stonefruits for the year. The little honeyberry was one of several plants incinerated by the following week of frigid 20 degree weather. I will probably give her lover away, too, to someone with room to waste. I'm wanting to squeeze in the fragrant winter honeysuckle somewhere, if it's true I can eat the tart fruit as someone said. Happy winter!

Hi There,
I would love your honeyberry. I have been looking for such an opportunity. Please see my trade list. I will gladly pay postage. In fact, if anyone wants to get rid of their honeyberries, I will gladly give them a good home. We have an "Arctic" garden, and my daughter liked the 2 berries we got. I figure, if I have a bunch of bushes, maybe she could have 10 berries.
