Butterfly bush jelly

I love making rose petal jelly and am interested in what other flowers would make good jelly. I love the smell of butterfly bush. To me it smells like some kind of candy. I've never seen any reference to anyone making butterfly bush jelly. I'm not even sure if it's not poisonous. I can't find anywhere that sais it's poisonous. If anyone has ever used butterfly bush for jelly I'd be very interested in hearing about your results

I wouldn't recommend you eat it, if you don't know for sure.

RE: Butterfly bush jelly

This website would suggest that it is,
However I think it would warrant further investigation under the name ( Mi Meng Hua )
