Just read about Katuk and have seen conflicting opinions about the taste and growing. Anyone here grow it and have advice or suggestions for me? I am in Los Angeles/ Inglewood, California.

RE: Katuk advice, suppliers, taste?

I have been growing katuk for about 10 years here in south Florida. It is super easy to grow. A little shade and water once a week and it is happy. I eat the flowers and new leaves raw as I walk around the garden or on a salad. The new shoots go in stir fry. The taste is nutty, similar to a peanut.
