 o
edible flower bed?

In my back yard, south facing, white brick wall. Gets sun from about 11 to about 6 or 7. My only issues are that the area we are planning for.the bed is often downwind from the laundry vent and is right next to the air.conditioner. ill list the plants we plan for this bed. I would like any suggestions on placement, such as rows, massing, etc. It doesn't need to look spectacular and I.don't expect.the colors to.go.to well but I would still like it to look nice. The.bed is about 4 ft.by 15 ft, with of course an airconditioner on one end, bleh. Ok, these are the flower and shrub seed I have for the bed:
Pansy caramel spice
Johnny jump UPS tricolor
Carnation chabaud giants
Marigold signet lemon and tangerine gem
Nasturtiums Alaska mix.and....I think jewel
Bachelors.buttons
Snap dragons black prince, Brighton rock,.and some pastel mix
Hibiscus white with a red eye
Antwerp hollyhock.and tall.singles.mix
Autumn beauty sunflower.mix.(not sure if these are all edible?)

I think that's all my edibles currently.

Any layout ideas or experience with these flowers would be appreciated!

RE: edible flower bed?

I think you have a great list. You might want to check out the article below. In it there are several other plants that have edible flowers that you might try as well. Some of them are plants that have edible parts in addition to edible flowers.

For nasturtiums you will want to give them something to climb on, it will give the space more vertical appeal.

Enjoy
