Will American Persimmon fruit in partial-shade? (+other question)

Hi,

I'm gettting a male American Persimmon cultivar which also produces fruit: 'Szukis'; I already have a female cultivar: 'Meader'.

1.) If I plant a Persimmon tree so that it only receives morning and maybe early afternoon sun will the tree produce fruit? (Maybe I can harvest some of the fruit and rippen it in sun)

2.) Will the tree planted in partial-shade grow less wide then if it were in full-sun? The maximum spread should be 30', but I was hoping for only 24 based on the space, even if it takes decades.

3.) Anyone familiar with the 'Meader' and/or 'Szukis' cultivars?

thanks,
Steve

Hi! I don't have any of the cultivars, but we have wild persimmons growing on our property. I know that if you have only one persimmon that you will get fruit, only no seeds. Ours get some shade, but mostly sun.
