I was looking through Raintree's site and saw they have several varieties of huckleberries. Can anyone tell me which ones have the best taste?

Thanks!

Jeanne

RE: Best tasting huckleberries

Well, since no one else has posted I'll chime in with my very limited experience. Last year I tried to grow the Black huckleberries but I placed it in full sun and after the temp reached around 87 - 90 degrees it burnt to a crisp! planting them in morning sun only this year, I have however tasted the Evergreen Huck and depending on when you pick; may taste either bland or quite tasty, I have four of these and they are full of flowers this year, I got the Black Huck yesterday and hope to taste them next year when I get the Thunderbirds
