virginia bluebells?

| are they an edible flower, or can you use them in place of violets in jelly? i notice if you pull out the bloom just right, there is a sweet drop of nectar. |

| I have never ever come across them on any edible plant lists. While that one drop of nectar may be sweet & not kill you, that doesn't mean eating the rest of the flower won't. If in doubt, leave it out. Sorry. |

| i agree. thanks for the reply! i haven't done a thing since posting nearly a month ago. i wanted to hear others opinions. now i have seed instead of flower!!! yeah! i field of them is just beautiful.. |
