kiwi cross species pollination??

| i have a female arguta, the cat got the male, and i have a male chinesis, as well as 3 females. Does anyone know if the male chinesis can pollinate the female arguta? |

| I've read that they can, but they don't usually bloom at the same time (now mind you, my chinesis and Arguntas have never bloomed yet, so I am going on what I've read and no personal experience) Where are you growing the Chinesis? I didn't think they would survive your zone (or mine as I cart mine in and out). ~Chills |

| It may not survive my zone, this is the first year... But the price was right and I figured I'd give it a shot. I haven't heard of many success stories for fruit tho..oh well...we'll see. |
