tastiest edible flowers to add to salads?

i was just perusing the web looking for the tastiest flowers to add to salads because i would like to plant some edible foliage in my garden.

what kind of edible flowers do you like to grow?

I like violets, violas, and pansies (all related and edible)

Daylily seed pods, I think they taste better than the green beans they are said to taste like, I have not tried the flowers yet.

Feijoa flowers are said to be lovely. I've tried raw fuchsia flowers and I wouldn't bother unless you can process them first as they were all bitter.

The flowers from Chive Plants are terrific in salads. Just break up the flower and sprinkle over the top of the salad.

I just heard that salvia flowers are great. Especially S.clevandii

Day Lilly flowers are very good. They have a buttery taste and do very well in salads.

Has to be gardenia. They smell so good!!

the different colors of Day Lilly flowers have a different taste.

I need to check the link that was posted above. But I have a question:

Can you eat tiger lilly flowers?

Careful of the Day Lilly cultivars. I have heard that not all of them have retained the edibility of the original naturalized ones in the wild.
