punica in zone 6

Here is an off-the-wall question/situation for everyone:

I live in Henan Province in central China and I have a big area in which I can plant anything I want. I'l like to plant one or two pomegranate trees but I am unsure of what varieties would work here. This is probably a zone 6 at worst or somewhere between zone 6 and 7. Sun all day, I'm amending the soil with cow manure and leaves at the moment, and it will get watered for a couple of year. What I need help on is what types will grow (if any) and where I can get seeds or starters?

Also, any suggestions at to what other types of fruit trees would do well here?

Thanks.
