Mango Taproot Problem?

Hello everyone, I am new to the site and hope I am posting on the appropriate forum. I have read others posts and decided that I would grow a mango from seed. I planted it in a shallow 2" dish and when I took it out after a week I saw my taproot was bent. Since I am a novice I thought nothing of it and transplanted it into a 1 gal pot(plan to continue to upgrade pots). But as I continue to read I hear of problems of deformation due to crooked roots. Do I have a problem and can it be solved? Should I just start over again since it has only been a week?

Whats the worste that can happen? A slightly crooked tree? In nature a root grows down and chances are it will hit a small rock or shell or the root of another plant and end up bent off to the side, seeing as how its still small I'd say its not a big problem, if the trunk is crooked you can always straighten it with a piece of Cord, three strips of foam and bit of stout stick

mango trees naturally grow all bent and crooked, taproots will correct themselves due to earth's gravity
