 o
anyone have one paw paw: 'sunflower' which is self-fruitful?

Hi,

The 'Sunflower'Paw Paw cultivar is informally reported to be self-fruitful/self-compatable. Has anyone grown just one 'Sunflower' Paw Paw specimen and yet received fruit?

In a previous post response, someone said he did and yet another said that they didn't receive fruit until planting a second, unrelated Paw Paw - which could just be coincidental: i.e. that it was just going to be the first year, in general, that it would be mature enough to fruit.

Also, if it is true that the above mentioned individual actually received fruit on his Sunflower Paw Paw without polination from any other possible source other then itself, does that necessarily mean that ALL Sunflower Paw Paws, which I guess are all identical? clones, are likewise self-fertile; or could some not be for some reason?

Thanks,
Steve
